A fine art portrait session is not about striking a perfect pose or wearing the right outfit. It is about creating a space where you can breathe, be still, and allow yourself to be truly seen. Whether you are honoring a milestone, marking a meaningful season of life, or simply choosing to show up for yourself, this session was made for you.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

You are standing at a threshold, a birthday, an anniversary, a new chapter, a quiet moment of becoming, and you want something that captures not just how you look, but how it feels to be you right now. You do not need a reason. Choosing to be seen is reason enough.

THE EXPERIENCE

Step 1. We Begin With You. Before we plan anything else, we talk. I want to know your story, what this moment means to you, and what you want to carry with you from this experience. Every session is shaped around who you are, not a template.

Step 2. You Are Prepared With Care. Prior to your session, you will receive thoughtful wardrobe guidance and a preparation guide so you arrive feeling calm, comfortable, and ready. Depending on your package, a professional hair and makeup artist may be included to elevate your look and help you feel your most beautiful before you step in front of the lens. You do not need to figure anything out alone.

Step 3. The Mirror Exercise. Before the camera comes out, we pause together. Through a gentle mirror exercise, I guide you back to yourself. Away from the noise, the self-doubt, and the voice that says you are not ready. This is where the real session begins.

Step 4. Your Session Unfolds. Whether we photograph in my Huntington Beach studio or at a location that holds personal meaning to you, every frame is created with intention and care. I will guide you gently through the experience with patience and quiet direction. Nothing is forced. Nothing is performative. We simply let your story unfold.

Step 5. Guided Image Selection. Going through your images is part of the experience. We do it together. I will help you find the portraits that move you, the ones that make you stop and think, yes, that is me.

Step 6. Your Portraits, Delivered. Your selected images are edited in Yee's signature style and delivered as timeless, polished digital files. Artwork prints and wall collections are also available for those who want to bring their portraits to life beyond a screen.

I am not your photographer. I am your mirror, witnessing your becoming.

I have sat with people in front of the camera who came in nervous and left in tears, not from sadness, but from finally seeing themselves clearly. That is what this work is about. Not a beautiful image. A true one.
